حَملتَ يُسْراً بِيُمناكَ الّتي هطَلت
مِنها العَطايا فَأَصبَحت تُخجِلُ البَحرا
You carried ease in your right hand, from which rained
Gifts, so that it came to put the sea to shame.
فَجاءَنا البِشْرُ بَسّاماً يَقولُ لنا
لا يقرب العُسْرُ كفّاً تَحمل اليُسرا
Then joy came to us, beaming, saying to us:
“Hardship does not approach a palm that carries ease.”
