تَشدو الحَمائِمُ في غُصونِ رِياضِها
وَالرّيحُ في الأغصان كالسِّنطيرِ
The doves sing among the boughs of their gardens,
And the wind among the branches is like a dulcimer.
وَعَرائِسُ الأَغصانِ تَرقُص في الرُّبى
وَكواكِبُ الأزهارِ مثلُ بدورِ
And the brides of the branches dance upon the hills,
And the stars of the flowers are like full moons.
وَمَجامرُ الوردِ الشذيّ تَبخَّرَت
مِنها العَرايِسُ أطيبَ البخّورِ
And the censers of fragrant roses—
From them the brides have perfumed themselves with the sweetest incense.
