بِروحي مُحيّاها وَفي وَسطِهِ غَدَت
سَوالِفها تَبدو لِسلبِ النّفوس
I would ransom her face with my soul; in its midst
the sides of her face have come into view to steal souls.
فَجَبهَتها شَمسٌ وفي كُلِّ وَجنةٍ
فَشَمسانِ فَالمَجموعُ خَمسُ شموس
For her forehead is a sun, and in each cheek
are two suns—so the total is five suns.
