Indeed, this tomb is a garden of bliss,
In the gardens of eternity, with their palaces.
A scholar, a venerable imam, has made it his abode,
And a renowned man—oh, how renowned!
He is knowledge's sun, which has set today,
And has now vanished after shining forth.
This is al-Masiri, Muhammad, an ocean of knowledge,
Unique in his age, without a peer.
May my Lord shower mercy upon him; the chronogram was recorded and revealed:
God's mercy for Imam al-Masiri.
