1. يا حُسنَها مِن بركَةٍ يَحلو بِها

    صَبُّ الزّلالِ لِناظِرٍ وَلِذائقِ

    O, what a blessing is her beauty, sweetened by it

    Is the pouring of the limpid water to the onlooker and the taster

  2. قَد رُصِّنت بِيَد الوَزيرِ أَخي النّدى

    صِدْقاً سُليَمان الزّمان الصّادقِ

    She was crafted by the hand of the minister, my brother Nadaa

    In truth, Suleiman of time, the truthful

  3. فَاِنظُر إِلَيها إِذ بدا أرِّخْ بها

    ماءٌ صَفا مثل الزّلالِ الرائِقِ

    So look upon it as it begins, date it

    Water pure like the limpid, refreshing water
