1. بَدَأتُ بِبِسمِ اللَّه في نَظمِ ذا العقدِ

    وَأَحمَدُ ربّي اللّه في أَبلَغِ الحَمدِ

    I begin with the name of Allah in composing this string of pearls

    And I praise my Lord Allah in the most eloquent praise

  2. وَصَلّيتُ آلافاً بِدونِ نِهايَةٍ

    وَسَلَّمت آلافاً تُصان عَنِ الحدِّ

    And I send blessings without end upon the Chosen One

    And salutations without limit upon the Best of Messengers

  3. عَلى المُصطَفى المُختارِ أَشرَفِ مُرسلٍ

    وَخَيرِ نَبِيٍّ قامَ بِالحقِّ وَالرّشدِ

    Upon Mustafa the Elect, the Noblest of the Sent Ones

    And the Best Prophet who established truth and guidance

  4. كَذاكَ عَلى الآلِ الكِرامِ وَصَحبهِ

    أُولي الفَضلِ وَالإِخلاصِ في العَزمِ وَالقصدِ

    Likewise upon his noble family and companions

    The people of merit, sincerity of purpose and resolve

  5. وَبَعد فَنَدعو اللَّهَ جَلّ جَلالهُ

    بِأَقصى خُضوعِ القَلبِ في غايَةِ الجدِّ

    Thereafter we call upon Allah, Majestic is His Majesty

    With the utmost humility of heart and earnest intent

  6. وَنَدعوكَ مَولانا بِأَسمائك الّتي

    بِأيٍّ بِه تُدعى تُجيب بِلا رَدِّ

    And we call upon You, our Master, by Your Names

    By whichever You are called, You respond without refusal

  7. بِذاتِكَ يا مَن ذاتُهُ قَد تَقَدَّسَت

    وَجَلَّت عَنِ التَحديدِ وَالشّكل والنِّدِّ

    By Your Essence, O You whose Essence is Most Sanctified

    Exalted beyond limits, image or likeness

  8. كَذا عَن مُشيرٍ أَو وزيرٍ يُعينهُ

    وَعَن وَالد وَالأُمّ ثمّ عَنِ الوُلْدِ

    Likewise beyond any advisor or minister to aid Him

    Or father and mother, then beyond child

  9. كَذا عَن شَريكٍ في الصّفاتِ وَذاتِهِ

    وَأَفعالِهِ يا مَن تَنَزّهَ عَن ضدِّ

    Likewise no partner in attributes or essence

    O You Who is far above having an opposite

  10. كَذلكَ عَن مِثلٍ وَشبهٍ وَإِنهُ

    تَعالى هُوَ المَعروفُ بِالأَحَدِ الفردِ

    Similarly no equal, likeness or similarity

    Exalted is He, the One Known as the Unique

  11. كَذا بِصِفاتِ اللَّهِ جَلَّ كَمالُها

    بِكتبِ إلَه العَرشِ أَنزَلَها تَهدي

    Thus are His perfect attributes, the books of the God of the Throne made clear

    In the Torah of Moses, the Psalms and after

  12. بِتوراةِ موسى بِالزّبورِ وَبعدهُ

    بِإِنجيلِ عيسى مَن تَكَلَّمَ في المَهدِ

    In the Gospel of Jesus who spoke from the cradle

    In the Quran of Taha, Seal of Prophets

  13. بِقُرآنِ طهَ خاتم الأنبياءِ مَنْ

    لَهُ اللَّه مَولانا حَباهُ لِوا الحَمدِ

    To whom, O our Lord, You granted the utmost praise

    Including its letters, verses and chapters

  14. وَما فيهِ مِن حَرفٍ وَآيٍ وسورةٍ

    وَحكمٍ كَإِدغام وَقصرٍ ومن مدِّ

    And its rulings of merging and shortening letters and prolonging them

    Starting with the Opening through which no name is preferred

  15. بِفاتِحة مِنهُ تُسمّى بِلا اِمترا

    بِأُمّ كتابِ اللَّهِ ذي الجودِ وَالرفدِ

    The Mother of the Book, of generosity and bounty

    Then what follows, the longest chapter

  16. بِما بَعدها هاتيكَ أَطولُ سورَة

    بِآلٍ لعمرانٍ ذَوي الفَضلِ وَالمجدِ

    Al Imran's house, the people of merit and glory

    And Women, my Lord, and the Table sent down

  17. كَذا بِالنّسا ربّي بِمائِدَةٍ أَتت

    لِعبدكَ عيسى ربِّ أَكرمهُ مِن عبدِ

    To Your servant Jesus, O Lord honor him generously

    The Chapter of Cattle, the Heights, and after

  18. بِسورةِ أَنعامٍ بِأَعرافِها كَذا

    بِسورَةِ أَنفال لَها الذّكر مِن بَعدِ

    The Chapter of Spoils whose mention comes next

    Likewise the Chapter of Repentance, O Lord, and Jonah

  19. كَذلِكَ مَولانا بِسورَةِ تَوبةٍ

    بِيونسَ مَن أَنجَيتَ مِن غَرقٍ يُردي

    Whom You saved from drowning in the deep sea

    The Chapter of Hud then Joseph's Chapter

  20. بِسورَةِ هودٍ ثمَّ سورَةِ يوسُفٍ

    وَما بَعدها يا ربِّ مِن سورَةِ الرّعدِ

    And what comes after, O Lord, from the Chapter of Thunder

    The Chapter of Abraham, Al-Hijr, then The Bee

  21. بِسورَة إِبراهيم بِالحِجر بَعدها

    وَبِالنَّحلِ بِالإِيحاء ربِّ لَها تهدي

    Revelation, O Lord, it gives guidance

    Al-Isra, The Cave, then Mary

  22. بِسورَةِ إِسراء بِكَهفٍ بِمَريم

    بِطَه كَذا بِالأَنبِياءِ أُولي المَجدِ

    And Taha, the Prophets, O Masters of Glory

    And The Pilgrimage, then The Believers succeeded

  23. وَبِالحجّ ثمّ المُؤمِنينَ وأَفلحوا

    وَبِالنورِ وَالفُرقانِ للغيّ من رشدِ

    The Light, The Criterion for one astray from guidance

    The Poets, The Ant, The Stories which

  24. وَبِالشّعراءِ بِالنّملِ بِالقصصِ الّتي

    لَها أَنزَلَ الرّحمنُ جلّ عَنِ الندِّ

    The Most Merciful sent down, Exalted above any equal

    The Chapter of The Spider, The Romans

  25. وَيا رَبّنا بِالعَنكَبوتِ بِرومِها

    بِسورَةِ لُقمان الحَكيم أَخي الزّهدِ

    Lukman the Wise, my brother in asceticism

    The Prostration, The Confederates You foiled O Lord

  26. كَذلكَ مَولانا بِسورَةِ سَجدَة

    بِسورَةِ أَحزاب صَددتَ عَنِ القَصدِ

    Then the letter Saad, then The Letter Taa Seen

    The Letter Ha Meem, then the letter Seen and the Qaaf after

  27. كَذا بِسَبا ربّي بِسورَةِ فاطِر

    بِياسين بِالصافّاتِ جَلّت عَنِ العدِّ

    The Adorned, then The Torn, The Wind-Scattered Bones

    The Mount, The Star by which creations find guidance

  28. بِصَ بِتَنزيل إِلهي بِغافِر

    بِفُصِّلت الآيات يا ربّ يا مُبدي

    The Bright Moon You split, as evidence

    Of the sending, foiling one who denies

  29. بِحَم عَينٍ ثمّ سينٍ فَقافها

    بِزُخرفها حم يا ربّ مِن بعدِ

    My God, then Ar-Rahman, Majestic is His Majesty

    And The Inevitable of which the very thought turns hair gray

  30. كَذا بِدخان ثمّ جاثِيةٍ كَذا

    بِسورَةِ أَحقافٍ لِعادٍ أولي البعدِ

    Then Iron, then The Dispute which

    God hears what is said and what thoughts are conveyed

  31. بِسورَةِ خَيرِ الخَلقِ طرّاً محمّدٍ

    عَلَيهِ صَلاةُ اللَّهِ تَهمي بِلا حَدِّ

    The Chapter of The Exodus on Resurrection Day

    In which, O Lord, You urge us to Paradise

  32. بِفَتحٍ مُبينٍ فيهِ رَبِّ مَنحتَه

    وَبِالحُجراتِ السالِماتِ مِنَ الهدِّ

    The Testing of the Believing Women, then The Emigration

    And The Ranks, at the time of battle and strife

  33. بِقافٍ كَذا بِالذارِياتِ بِطورِها

    بِنَجمٍ وَبِالنّجم الخَلائِقُ تَستَهدي

    The Blessed Friday, then the Chapter

    Mentioning the hypocrites, those far removed

  34. وَبِالقَمرِ الزّاهي لِطهَ شَقَقتهُ

    دَليلاً عَلى الإِرسالِ قَمعاً لذي جحدِ

    Similarly, The Mutual Disillusion, then Divorce

    Through which dissolution of marriage bonds is permitted

  35. إِلَهي وَبِالرّحمنِ جَلَّ جَلالهُ

    بِواقِعَةٍ مِن هَولِها الشّيب للوُلْدِ

    The Prohibition, then The Kingdom, then The Letter Noon

    And The Overwhelming Calamity that whitens locks

  36. كَذا بِحَديد بِالمُجادِلةِ الّتي

    لَها سَمعَ اللّه المَقالَ وَما تُبدي

    And O Lord of Majesty, then The Ascending Stairways

    Noah's Chapter, builder of the ark and warner

  37. بِسورَةِ حَشر في القِيامَةِ لِلوَرى

    وَفيهِ بِنا أَسرع إِلى جنَّةِ الخُلدِ

    The Chapter of Jinn who believed in Muhammad

    Hearing the Quran guiding to righteousness

  38. كَذا بِاِمتِحانِ المُؤمِناتِ بِهِجرةٍ

    وَبِالصفِّ في حينِ القِتالِ مَعَ الجدِّ

    Then The Enshrouded One, The Cloaked One raised up high

    The Rising of all Creation for God, Worthy of zeal

  39. وَبِالجُمعَةِ الفُضلى كَذاكَ بِسورةٍ

    بِها ذِكرُ أَصحابِ النّفاقِ ذَوي الطردِ

    And O Lord, The Man, Those Sent Forth

    But The Great News spreading word of Resurrection

  40. كَذلِكَ يا ربّ الوَرى بِتَغابنٍ

    بِسورَةِ تَطليق بِهِ الحلّ للعَقْدِ

    The Tearers who tear out every soul

    From each body and self, from each liver

  41. بِسورَةِ تَحريمٍ بِملك بِنونِها

    وَبالحاقّة الكبرى مشيِّبةِ الفودِ

    Likewise The Frowning, O Lord, then the Chapter

    Mentioning The Folding Up, O Granter of gifts

  42. وَيا رَبّنا يا ذا العُلى بِمَعارِجٍ

    بِسورَةِ نوحٍ صانِع الفُلكِ وَالمبدي

    Then The Sundering, the Defrauders, and woe to him!

    Woe and remoteness be to the defrauder!

  43. بِسورَةِ جِنٍّ آمنوا بِمُحمَّدٍ

    وَقَد سَمِعوا القُرآنَ يَهدي إِلى الرّشدِ

    Then The Cleaving, O my Lord, then The Multitudes

    Then The Decline, You inspired me O Guide

  44. بِمُزَّمِّل ربّي بِمدَّثِّرٍ عَلا

    كَذا بِقِيامِ الخَلقِ للَّه ذي الجَدِّ

    The Afternoon, then The Night, O Lord, and Morning Brightness

    Similarly the Chapter The Solace for Mustafa the Singular

  45. وَيا ربِّ بِالإِنسانِ بِالمُرسَلات بل

    وَبِالنّبأ الفاشي عَنِ البعثِ لِلخلدِ

    Then The Fig, Recite by the decree, But when

    It was not, The Earthquake on the First Blast

  46. وَبِالنّازِعاتِ الروحَ مِن كلِّ جُثَّةٍ

    وَمِن كلِّ ذي نَفسٍ وَمِن كلِّ ذي كبدِ

    Then The Chargers, then the Striking Calamity of which

    The Lord of the Throne says, Spare me from its horror!

  47. كَذا بِعَبس يا ربِّ ثمَّ بِسورَةٍ

    بِها يُذكرُ التّكوير يا وَاهب الرّفدِ

    Then The Declining Day, O Lord, then Rivalry

    In world increase, then the Chapter of the Elephant

  48. وَبِاِنفَطَرت ثمّ المُطفّف كيله

    وَويل لهُ وَيل وَيا غايَةَ البُعْدِ

    My God, then The Unity, Exalted is His Majesty

    Then the Chapter Determining the appointed time of all

  49. كَذا بِاِنشِقاقٍ لِلسّما بِغَمامِها

    كَذا بِبروجٍ ثَمَّ مَعلومَةِ العَدِّ

    And O Lord, then Dawn's Splendor, then The Land

    Which the Chosen One opened, vanquisher of India

  50. وَبِالطّارِقِ البادي مِنَ النّجمِ في الدّجى

    بِسورَةِ سَبِّحْ نزّه اللَّه عن نِدِّ

    Then The Sun, then By the Night, O Lord

    Similarly the Chapter of The Morning Brightness for Mustafa the Singular

  51. بِغاشِيَةٍ بِالفَجرِ بِالبَلدِ الّذي

    لَهُ فَتحَ المختار بِالباتِرِ الهِندي

    Then The Fig Tree, then Read beginning with His name

    Not having been, then The People, which is the Seal, O Lord

  52. وَبِالشّمسِ ثمّ اللّيل يا رَبِّ بِالضّحى

    كَذا بِاِنشِراحِ الصّدرِ لِلمُصطَفى الفردِ

    The poem concludes as it began, with praise to the Lord

    By Your Throne, the Pedestal, the Preserved Tablet

  53. وَبِالتينِ ثمّ اِقرَأ بقدرٍ بِلَم يَكُن

    بِزلزلة في النّفخ فاطرة الكبدِ

    And the Recordering Pen of all we reveal or hide

    Then Gabriel, O my Lord, and Michael who

  54. وَبالعادِياتِ المورِياتِ لِقدحِها

    بِقارِعة رَبِّ اِحمِ مِن هَولِها المُردي

    Will blow the Trumpet for Resurrection O Reviver

    The one who seizes souls, O Lord, every one

  55. وَبِالعَصرِ ربّي بِالتّكاثُرِ قَبلَها

    بِويلٍ لكلِّ الهامِزينَ مَعَ الطردِ

    Who carry the Throne, protected from toil

    So too, O Lord, for all the angels

  56. بِفيلٍ لَقَد أَهلَكت يا رَبِّ أَهلَهُ

    كَذا بِقُريشٍ مَن حَوَوا أَشرَفَ المَجدِ

    They are God's army, the greatest of armies

    And the highest heavens, their constellations

  57. كَذلِكَ بِالماعونِ بِالكَوثَرِ الّذي

    لأحمَد قَد أَعطيت في جَنّةِ الخُلدِ

    Their stars, the concealed receding celestial bodies

    Likewise the stations altogether

  58. كَذاكَ بِقُل يا أَيّها الكافرونَ بَل

    وَبِالنّصرِ لِلمُختارِ يا مُنجِزَ الوعدِ

    Containing good fortune and luck

    Mecca, O my Lord, and the Sacred House

  59. بِتَبَّتْ وَبِالإِخلاصِ بِالفَلق

    يَسلّ عَلى الظّلماءِ عاضِبهُ الهِندي

    My God, through which Hejaz triumphs over Najd

    And the Sacred House, O Lord, and Zamzam

  60. وَبِالنّاسِ وَهيَ الختم رَبِّ وآخرٌ

    لِقُرآنِك المَبدوءِ يا رَبِّ بِالحَمدِ

    And where the Friend stays, bestower of gifts

    And the corner, then the Black Stone, O Lord

  61. بِعَرشِكَ بِالكرسي بِلَوحٍ حَفِظتهُ

    وَبِالقَلَمِ المُحصي لِما نُخفي أَو نُبدي

    Turning sins of people as black as night

    And Taybah, made pure by the one who guided creation

  62. بِجبريلَ يا رَبّي بِميكالَ بِالّذي

    بِأَيديهِ نَفخُ الصورِ لِلبعثِ يا مُبدي

    Its fragrant garden from the Gardens of Eternity

    And the Rauda, wherein settled the great ones

  63. بِمَن يِقبِضُ الأَرواحَ ربِّ جَميعَها

    بِمَن يَحمِلونَ العَرشَ صينوا عَنِ الكدِّ

    Leaders of mankind, lions of bravery

    Likewise holy Jerusalem and what it contains

  64. كَذلِكَ ربّي بِالمَلائِكِ كلِّهم

    أُولئِكَ جندُ اللَّهِ هُم أَكبَر الجُندِ

    A blessed land whose borders are known

    And the seven earths altogether, O Lord

  65. كَذا بِالسّمواتِ العُلى بِبُروجِها

    بِأَنجُمِها بِالخُنَّس الغرّ من بَعْدِ

    All that lies between ascendance and descent

    Containing the lands of every prophet and messenger

  66. كَذاكَ إِلَهي بِالمَنازِلِ كلّها

    كَذاكَ بِما تَحوي مِنَ اليُمنِ وَالسّعدِ

    And the resting place of Best of Creation

    The Farthest Mosque, and the Mosque of Taybah

  67. بِمَكّةِ يا ربّي وَبِالحَرمِ الّذي

    إِلَهي بِهِ سادَ الحِجاز عَلى نجدِ

    And the Sacred Mosque where pilgrims gather

    For every prophet You sent, O Lord, every messenger

  68. وَيا رَبِّ بِالبيتِ الحَرامِ وَزَمزم

    كَذا بِمقامٍ لِلخَليل أَبي الرفدِ

    My God, You sent him with guidance to light the way

    Adam, O Lord, and Idris after him

  69. وَبِالرّكنِ ثمّ الحِجْر بِالحَجَر الّذي

    غَدا مِن خَطايا النّاسِ ربِّ بمسودِّ

    Hud, brother of `Aad, those far removed

    Then the Friend of the Holy House, Ayyoub who showed

  70. بِطيبة قَد طابَت بِمَن أَرشَد الوَرى

    بِرَوضَتِها الفَيحاء مِن جنَّةِ الخُلدِ

    Patience with affliction O Lord, and steadfastness

    Then Shu`ayb, Lot, then Salih

  71. كَذا بِبقيعٍ حلَّ فيهِ أَكابِر

    كَرام صَناديد ضَوارٍ مِنَ الأُسْدِ

    Dawood arranged the Psalms in order

    Then Suleyman, to whom the wind was subdued

  72. كَذلكَ بِالقُدسِ الشّريفِ وَما حَوى

    وَأَرضٍ بِه قدّست مَعلومة الحدِّ

    Elias, O my Lord, and Aaron of glory

    Then Yahya, Zachariah his father

  73. وَبِالأَرضين السّبعِ يا ربِّ كلّها

    بِكلِّ الّذي تَحوي مِنَ العُلْو والوَهْدِ

    Then Jonah whom You saved from the engulfing sea

    Then Isaac, O my Lord, and his son Jacob

  74. بِما ضَمَّ مِنها مِن نَبيٍّ وَمُرسَلٍ

    بِبُقعَة خَيرِ الخَلقِ فاخِرة اللّحدِ

    To whom You returned Joseph, best of answers

    Then Joseph, O my Lord, and Al-Yasa`

  75. وَبِالمَسجِدِ الأَقصى بِمَسجِد طيبَةٍ

    وَبِالمَسجِدِ المَكيّ مُجتمع الوفدِ

    Of whom You said "He was truthful in his promise"

    That was Ishmael, O Lord, whom You ransomed

  76. بِكلِّ نَبيّ قَد بَعَثتَ وَمُرسَلٍ

    إِلَهي لَقَد أَرسلتَهُ بالهُدى يَهدي

    Commanding his father to sacrifice him

    Then Joshua, Al-Khidr, then Elias

  77. بِآدَم يا رَبِّ بِإدريس بَعدَهُ

    بِهودٍ أَخي عادٍ أُولي الطّردِ والبُعْدِ

    Then Shemaya, Sham`oon, Ezekiel of repute

    Then Hanzalah, O Lord, then Seth and Khaled

  78. بِذي الكِفْل يا ربّي بِأَيّوبَ مَن غَدا

    عَلى الضُّرِّ ربَي بِالصّبورِ وَبالجلدِ

    Son of Sinan, then Luqman the ascetic

    Then Moses' mother, O my God, then Maryam

  79. كَذا بِشُعيبٍ ثمَّ لوطٍ بِصالحٍ

    بِداودَ مَنْ بِالأمرِ قدّر في السردِ

    Then Alexander the well known barrier builder

    And the Tribes in full, O Lord

  80. كَذا بِسُليمان لَه الرّيحُ سُخّرت

    بِإلياسَ يا ربّي بِهارونَ ذي المَجدِ

    Then Jurjis who rose up guiding his people

    Then Daniel without question, the entrusted bearer of the Torah

  81. بِيَحيى بِذي المِحرابِ وَالِده كذا

    بِيونسَ مَنْ أَنجيت مَن غرقٍ مُردي

    Then Ezra the brother of bounty

    Then Noah, Jesus, and Moses his grandfather

  82. بِإِسحاقَ يا ربّي بِيَعقوب نَجلِهِ

    رَددتَ عَلَيه يوسفاً أَحسنَ الرّدِّ

    Your Friend, O Beneficent, honor him greatly

    But the best of them, pride of creation, Ahmad

  83. بِيوسفَ يا ربّي وَبالْيَسَع كذا

    بِمن قلت عنهُ إِنَّهُ صادِقُ الوَعدِ

    Noblest Messenger, bringing truth and guidance

    Who supported the pillar of truth, O Lord, and erected it

  84. وَذَلكَ إِسماعيلُ رَبِّ فديتَهُ

    أَمرتَ أَباه أَنْ بِذِبْحٍ لَه يفدي

    And returned the pillar of misguidance to ruin

    By his radiant way which You helped, O God

  85. بِيوشَع ثمَّ الخضرِ بليا بأرميا

    بِشعْيا بِشمعونٍ بحزقيلَ في العَدِّ

    With the sword of truth, drawn from its sheath

    By his wives, best of women, `Aisha

  86. بِحَنظلةٍ ربّي بشيثٍ بخالدٍ

    هو اِبن سنانٍ ثمّ لقمانَ ذي الزّهدِ

    Was especially beloved, excelling in affection

    Then Fatima Az-Zahra, mistress of women

  87. بِأُمٍّ لِموسى يا إلَهي بمَريمٍ

    بِإِسكَندرَ المشهورِ والواضعِ السدِّ

    And his progeny, O Lord, and in-laws too

    His uncles Al-`Abbas and valiant Hamzah

  88. كَذلكَ بِالأَسباطِ ربِّ جميعهم

    بِجرجيس مَن قَد قامَ في قَومِهِ يَهدي

    My God, and all his Family, the honored ones

    And the imam of his companions, the one of merit and bounty

  89. بِمَن قَد تَسمّى دانيال بِلا اِمتِرا

    بِمُمْلٍ لتوراةٍ عُزيرٍ أخي الجدِّ

    His trusted successor who verified his words

    And the pagans opposed with denial and prevention

  90. بِنوحٍ بِعيسى ثمّ موسى بجَدّه

    خليلِك يا رَحمن أكرمْهُ من جَدِّ

    Then Al-Farooq, fast to rend his garment

    Having no garb but it, such was his asceticism

  91. بِأَفضَلِهم طرّاً حبيبك أَحمدٍ

    أَجلِّ رَسولٍ جاءَ بِالحقِّ وَالرّشدِ

    Then the martyr of the house, `Uthman

    Who collected God's Book, singular in knowledge

  92. وَأَيَّد ركنَ الحقّ ربّ وَشادهُ

    وَعادَ عَلى رُكنِ الضّلالةِ بِالهدِّ

    And the fierce, repeated striker, Haydar

    `Ali, father of the two grandsons, predator of lions

  93. بِمِلَّتهِ الغرّا الّتي قَد نَصرتها

    إِلَهي بِسيفِ الحقِّ سلّ مِنَ الغمدِ

    And the six remaining ones of the ten

    Whom the Chosen One gave glad tidings of Paradise

  94. بِأَزواجِهِ خَير النّساء وإنّه

    لعائشة قَد كانَ مِن زائدي الوُدِّ

    Likewise the Helpers and Emigrants altogether

    And the People of Badr, possessing utmost fortune

  95. بِفاطمة الزّهراءِ سيّدة النّسا

    كَذلكَ بِالباقي لِطَه من الوُلْدِ

    Who were present at Uhud, O Lord

    To help God's religion with true devotion

  96. بِسبطيهِ يا ربّي بِأَصهارِهِ كذا

    بعمّيه عباسٍ وحمزة ذي المجدِ

    Who attended the Pledge of Good Pleasure

    Binding themselves to fulfill the pledge, surpassing all bonds

  97. إِلَهي بِكلِّ الآلِ آلِ مُحمّدٍ

    كَذا بِإِمامِ الصّحب ذي الفضلِ والرِّفدِ

    And all the Companions then the Followers

    And their Followers who walk their path

  98. خَليفتهِ الصّدّيق صدّق قَوله

    وَشافَههُ الكفّارُ بِالرّدِّ والصّدِّ

    And the practicing scholars altogether

    Aiding the Prophet's Law with effort

  99. كَذلكَ بِالفاروقِ راقِعِ ثوبهِ

    وَلَيسَ لَهُ ثَوب سِواهُ مِنَ الزّهدِ

    Then Numan, the Shafi`i, Malik

    Then Ahmad, universally accepted without denial

  100. كَذا بِشَهيدِ الدارِ عثمانَ من غدا

    بِجَمعِ كِتابِ اللَّه بِالعلمِ الفردِ

    And every saint, O Lord, drawing near

    And every martyr You revived in the grave

  101. وَبِالأنزعِ الكَرّار حَيدرة الوَغى

    عَليٍّ أَبي السبطَينِ مفترسِ الأُسْدِ

    And the spiritual poles altogether

    And masters of spiritual states, loyal to You

  102. وَبِالستّةِ الباقينَ مِن عَشرَةٍ لَهُم

    لَقَد بَشَّر المُختار في جنَّةِ الخُلدِ

    And the substitutes and the substitutes of substitutes

    My God, and the Pillars, O Granter of gifts

  103. كَذاكَ بِأنصارٍ بكل مهاجرٍ

    بِأَصحابِ بَدرٍ مَن حووا غاية السّعدِ

    And the people of attraction whom, O Lord

    You drew near, overflowing with love

  104. بِمَن حَضَروا يا ربّنا أُحُداً وَهُم

    لِنُصرَةِ دينِ اللَّهِ مِن مُخلِصي القَصدِ

    For every saint, O my God, and righteous one

    And every felicitous one whom You blessed with bliss

  105. بِمَن بَيعةَ الرّضوان قَد كانَ حاضراً

    وَأَلزمَ عَقد البيعِ ناهيكَ من عَقدِ

    And every obedient one, O my God, and worshipper

    Keeping late night vigil, companion of wakefulness

  106. كَذاكَ بِكلِّ الصّحبِ ثمّ بتابعٍ

    وَتابعه مِمَّن عَلى نولِهم يسدي

    And the Companions of the Cave, O Lord, who stayed

    Three hundred and nine more years by the count

  107. وَبِالعُلَماءِ العامِلين جميعِهِم

    فَقَد نَصروا شَرعَ النّبيِّ مع الجدِّ

    And we hope, O our Master, for everything

    By which we beseech You, my God, in this string

  108. بِكلِّ إِمامٍ ربِّ مجتهدٍ غدا

    يَستَنبطُ الأَحكامَ يبذل للجهدِ

    That You help Islam, O Lord, and its people

    And our mighty Sultan praised in all tongues

  109. بِنعمانَ ثمَّ الشَّافِعيِّ بِمالكٍ

    بِأَحمد مَنْ حازوا القَبول بِلا جحدِ

    He is son of the great royal kings through time

    Kings of earth's kings, peerless in sovereignty

  110. بِكلِّ وَليٍّ منكَ رَبِّ مقرّبٍ

    بِكلّ شَهيدٍ رَبِّ أَحييت في اللَّحْدِ

    They are the House of Osman who inherit

    His kingdom, O my God, from ancestors

  111. كَذلِكَ بِالأَقطابِ رَبِّ جَميعهم

    بِأَربابِ أَحوالٍ وَفَوْا لَكَ بِالعهدِ

    And the regent now from them is greatest

    So endow him with manifest victory over enemies

  112. كَذلِكَ بِالأنجابِ بِالبُدَلا كذا

    إلَهيَ بِالأَوتادِ يا مولِيَ الرفدِ

    God's Caliph, Lord of all worlds, his shade

    Keep him for us forever, O Lord, in perpetuity

  113. كَذاكَ بِأَهلِ الجَذبِ رَبِّ جذبتَهُمْ

    وَجُدتَ عَلَيهم ربِّ بِالحبِّ والودِّ

    And aid him, O Lord of heaven, and extend him

    With an army of angels in the best support

  114. بِكلِّ تَقيٍّ يا إلَهي وصالحٍ

    بِكلِّ سَعيدٍ مِنك قد فاز بالسّعدِ

    And grant him over enemies, O Best Granter of victory

    Lasting triumph, O my Master, through this army

  115. بِكلِّ مُطيعٍ يا إِلَهي وعابدٍ

    يُديم قِيامَ اللّيل وَهْوَ أَخو السُّهْدِ

    And bless him, my Master, with clear conquest by Your grace

    And adorn him with triumph and gains without limit

  116. بِأَصحابِ كَهفٍ ربِّ قَد لَبِثوا بِهِ

    ثَلاث مئينٍ ثمَّ تِسعاً لَدى العدِّ

    And beautify him, O my Master, with awe from You

    And power, then forbearance, justice and righteousness

  117. وَنَرجوكَ مَولانا بِكلِّ الّذي بِهِ

    إِلَيكَ تَوسُّلنا إِلَهي بِذا العِقْدِ

    And favor him, O my God, with might

    To strike terror in the thickets, fearsome to lions

  118. بِأَن تَنصرَ الإِسلام ربِّ وأهلهُ

    وَسلطانَنا المحمودَ في ألْسُنِ الحمدِ

    And strengthen, O God of the Throne, his armies

    And grant them victory over enemies, O Fulfiller of hopes

  119. هوَ ابنُ الملوكِ الغرِّ في الدَّهرِ قَد غَدَوْا

    ملوكَ ملوكِ الأرض طرّاً بلا نِدِّ

    And enable, my God, their spears in the foes

    And their swords drawn from sheaths for resolve and determination

  120. هُمُ آل عُثمانَ الّذين تَوارَثوا

    لملكِهِم جدّاً إلهيَ عن جَدِّ

    And make them war booty for the Muslims

    For You know best and will fulfill, O Granter

  121. وَإِنَّ المُولَّى الآن منهم أجلُّهم

    فَأَتحِفْهُ بِالنّصرِ العَزيزِ على الضِّدِّ

    And take vengeance, O Mighty Vanquisher

    My God, from the enemies, with truest intention

  122. خَليفة رَبِّ العالَمين وظلّه

    أَدِمْه علينا الدهرَ ربِّ بممتدِّ

    And relieve the Muslims' worries and concerns

    And improve their circumstances to good and guidance

  123. وَأَيِّده يا ربَّ السّماءِ ومدَّه

    بِجندٍ مِنَ الأملاكِ في أحسنِ المدِّ

    Heal, my God, every sick Muslim altogether

    For You heal without limit, my God, and wanting

  124. وَهَبْه عَلى الأَعداءِ يا خيرَ ناصرٍ

    مَدى الدَّهرِ يا مَولايَ نَصراً بذا الجندِ

    Accept, O God of the Throne, our supplication

    And we hope, O Lord, You will not reject our hopes

  125. وَأَتحفهُ بِالفَتحِ المُبينِ تَفضّلاً

    وَجَلّل بِنيلِ النّصرِ ما حازَ من بندِ

    And we ask You, O Allah, for pardon and repentance

    And success, O Lord of the Throne, in Paradise

  126. وَجَمِّله يا مَولايَ منكَ بِهَيبةٍ

    وَبِالعِزّ ثمَّ الحِلم والعدلِ والرّشْدِ

    And a good ending, my God, through Your grace

    Upon the best messengers of God, truly without denial

  127. وَمُنَّ عَلَيهِ يا إلَهي بِسَطوةٍ

    تُهَدُّ بِها في الغابِ رعباً قُوى الأُسْدِ

    Muhammad sent to all creation

    Erasing the darkness of polytheism with verses and spear

  128. وَأَيِّدْ إِلَه العَرشِ ربِّ جيوشَه

    وَظفِّرهُمُ بِالضِّدِّ يا قابلَ القصدِ

    And his family and companions

    The people of knowledge, merit, generosity and bounty

  129. وَمَكِّنْ إِلَهي في العُداة رِماحَهم

    وَأَسيافَهم سُلَّتْ مِنَ الجفنِ وَالغمدِ

    For all time, as long as the breeze blows from the morning

    And the perfume of musk, basil and iris perfume

  130. وَأَهلِكْ عداةَ الدّين مِن كلِّ كافرٍ

    وَطاغٍ وباغٍ يا إلَهي ومُرْتدِّ

    And as this poem began by praising the Name of Allah

    It concludes with praise to the Lord

  131. كَذا يا شَديد البطشِ خرِّبْ دِيارهم

    وَوالِ عليها القهرَ بالهدمِ والهَدِّ

  132. وَأَطفِئ إلَهَ العرشِ نارَ حُروبِهم

    وَدامَت عَلى الإِطفاء عادمة الوقْدِ

  133. وَما عَقَدوا مِن رايَةٍ لِحروبهِم

    فَصيِّر لهُ التّنكيس فذلكة العَقْدِ

  134. وَأَقدامَهمْ زَلزِل وَأَرجِف قُلوبَهم

    وَصَيِّر لَها الإِرجافَ فيها الرّدى يُجدي

  135. وَآجالَهم قَصِّرْ وَأَفْنِ رجالَهم

    إِلَهي لَهم أَهلِكْ إِلهي لَهم أَرْدي

  136. وَآمالهم خيِّبْ وَلِلسوءِ حالَهم

    فغيِّرْ ويتِّم ما يحوزونَ مِن وُلدِ

  137. وَآراءَهم شَتِّتْ وَرَمِّل نساءَهم

    ليَلْبَسْنَ مسودَّ المَلابس والبُردِ

  138. وَشملَهُم بَدِّدْ وَفرِّق جُموعَهم

    وَمِنهم فَمزِّق للتجلّد والجلدِ

  139. وَصيِّرهُمُ لِلمُسلِمينَ غَنيمةً

    فَذلكَ مَعروفٌ وَأَنتَ لهُ المُسْدِي

  140. وَيا ربِّ يا قهّارُ ذا البطشِ فَاِنتَقمْ

    إِلَهي مِنَ الأَعدا وَذا غاية القَصدِ

  141. وَفَرِّج كُروبَ المُسلِمين وَهمَّهم

    وَأَحوالَهم أَصلِحْ إِلى الخَيرِ والرّشدِ

  142. إِلَهي اِشْف مَرضى المُسلِمينَ جَميعهم

    فَأَنتَ لَهم تَشفي إِلَهي بلا حجدِ

  143. تَقبّل إلَهَ العرشِ مِنّا دُعاءَنا

    وَمَأمولنا أَنْ لا يقابلَ بِالردِّ

  144. وَنَرجوكَ يا أَللّهُ عَفواً وَتَوبةً

    وَفوزاً إِلَه العَرشِ في جنَّةِ الخلدِ

  145. وَحُسنَ خِتامٍ يا إِلَهي تَفضُّلاً

    عَلى خَيرِ رُسلِ اللَّهِ حَقّاً بلا جحدِ

  146. مُحمَّدٍ المَبعوث لِلخلقِ كلِّهم

    وَماحي ظلام الشِّركِ بِالآيِ وَالهِندي

  147. كَذاكَ عَلى الآلِ الكرامِ وَصحبِهِ

    أُولي العِلم ثمّ الفَضلِ وَالجودِ وَالرفدِ

  148. مَدى الدَّهرِ ما هبَّت نَسيمٌ مِنَ الصَّبا

    وَما فاحَ طيبُ المِسكِ وَالرندِ وَالندِّ

  149. وَما الفَتحُ بِاِسمِ اللَّهِ قَد كانَ بادِئاً

    وَفي نَظمِ هَذا العِقد يختم بالحمدِ
