بِصارِمِ لَحْظَيْهِ يَصولُ على الوَرى

ويَسْلُبُ لِلأَحْشا بِسِحْرِهِما سَلْبا

With his piercing eyes he charges at the land

And with their magic he rob the hearts violently

فنادَيْتُ إذْ لَحْظاهُ رامَا قِتالَنا

أُعيذُكُما باللّهِ أنْ تُحْدِثا حَرْبا

So I called out when his glances turned to fight us

I seek God's protection lest you start a war
