أَضحَت تَقولُ لِبَعلِها

السّعدُ في وَجهي أَراهْ

She began to say to her husband,

"I see happiness on your face."

فَأَجابَها ستي نَعمْ

إِذ كُنتِ تارِكةَ الصّلاه

So her husband answered her, "Yes,

Since you have abandoned your prayers."
