أَرْخَتْ ذَوائِبها تَموجُ وَراءَها
لِلأرضِ إِعجاباً عَلى أَترابِها
She let down her tresses, they wave behind,
As in wonder of earth and the rivals around.
فَاِحفَظ حَشاكَ مِنَ الذَّوائِبِ إِنَّها
لأَراقِمٌ وَقَفت على أَذنابِها
From those tresses take heed, for they spread nets the most fine -
On her fair neck and shoulders majestically wound.
