1. وَبي مُحيّاهُ ما أَسنى مَحاسِنَهُ

    فَكلُّ عَقلٍ بِها حَيران مَبهوتُ

    My soul is enraptured by his beauty's splendor,

    Each mind confounded, lost in awe profound.

  2. شَمسٌ بِرُؤيَتِها أَرواحُنا غذيت

    وَما سِواها لِروحِ المهتوي قوتُ

    The sun that nourished spirits with its wonder,

    No other food can fortify hearts unsound.

  3. وَثَغرُهُ الكَنزُ مِن عَينِ الحَياةِ بِهِ

    أَسنى اللّآلي وَباب الكَنزِ ياقوتُ

    His mouth a treasure from life's fountain rendered,

    Finest rubies, opening to treasures abound.
