With beauty like the sun, her cheeks so fair

The mole upon them as if it were a strand of hair

The full moon saw her visage, fell in love

Her cheeks and allure set its heart aflame

Leaving a mark, now a mole for her to flaunt

Perplexing minds and eyes without restrain

Its rays now strands, its blaze consumed it whole

Singed to become the locks upon her face
