1. وَجِّهِ العَزمَ وَاِسعَ خَيرَ المَساعي

    بِاِجتِهادٍ إِلى حِمى الأَوزاعي

    Direct your determination and exert great effort

    With diligence towards protecting the sanctuaries

  2. ثُمّ زُر بُقعةً لَقَد حَلَّ فيها

    تَلقها الدّهرَ من أجلِّ البقاعِ

    Then visit a spot where has settled

    The best of all places throughout time

  3. الإِمامُ الجَليلُ في كُلّ وَقتٍ

    نالَ لِلتابِعين حُسن اِتّباعِ

    The noble Imam at all times

    Attained for the followers excellence in emulation

  4. الفَقيهُ المُحَدّثُ الفردُ حِفظاً

    الصّدوقُ الثّبتُ البصيرُ الواعي

    The jurist, the hadith scholar, the unique one in memorization

    The truthful, the precise, the perceptive, the aware

  5. ثِقَةُ الدّهرِ حافِظٌ وَخَبير

    مُتقِنٌ ضابِطٌ وَعالي السماعِ

    The era’s trustee, memorizer, and expert

    Precise, disciplined, and most highly regarded

  6. صاحِب المَذهَبِ الشّهيرِ اِشتِهارا

    مِثل شَمسِ الضّحى بِدونِ نِزاعِ

    Possessor of the famous school unrivaled

    Like the bright morning sun without dispute

  7. قُطب غَوثٍ وَعارف قَد تَسامى

    بَحر عِلمٍ وَلا اِمتِرا ذو اِتّساعِ

    Pole of succor and knower who has reached the heights

    An ocean of knowledge with no shore in sight

  8. شاطِئ البحرِ رامَ فيهِ مقاماً

    نالَ فيهِ المقامَ حُسنَ اِرتِفاعِ

    He came to settle on the coast of the sea

    Attaining therein a lofty abode

  9. حِصنُ بَيروتَ سورُها العالِ لَولا

    هُ لَآلَت إِلى الرَّدى وَالضّياعِ

    The fortress of Beirut, its high wall, without him

    It would have collapsed into ruin and loss

  10. سَيِّدي مِنك نَظرة لِعُبَيدٍ

    أَضجَعَتهُ الهُموم أيّ اِضّجاعِ

    My master, cast a glance at your servants

    Whom worries have laid down in distress

  11. قَد دَهاهُ مِنَ الخطوبِ مُلِمٌّ

    بِكَ يَرجو لَه سريع اِندِفاعِ

    An ordeal has befallen him, overwhelming

    Through you he hopes for swift relief

  12. وَتَبدّى عَبدُ اللَّطيفِ وَقيعاً

    في حِماكَ السّامي وَخدنِ اِتّضاعِ

    And the servant of the Most Kind has appeared destitute

    In your noble protection and humble embrace

  13. فَاِنْصُرَنْهُ حاشاكَ مَولايَ حاشا

    أَن يُرَى بِالمُضامِ أَو بِالمُضاعِ

    So help him - never, my Master, never

    Should he be seen defeated or deprived

  14. وَعَلَيكَ الرِّضا رِضاء إِلَهي

    يَتوالى الزّمانَ دونَ اِنقِطاعِ

    Upon you be the pleasure - the pleasure of my God

    May it continue through time without interruption

  15. ما نَسيمٌ سَرى وَأَطرَبَ ورقٌ

    فَوقَ غُصنٍ بِأَحسنِ الأَسجاعِ

    No breeze has blown, nor leaf stirred

    Above a branch, with fairer compositions
