I looked at her, so she was made lawful with a glance,

Thus my modesty, and likewise my soul, and plunder suited her,

And the swords of the glance unsheathed when it shed with them

My blood, and my blood is dear, so love made it cheap,

And I was precious in my love for her, and she saw my blood

On my cheek from my eyes shedding for him drops,

For another he is too precious, yet to her

It became cheap, so which of these two amazes her more?
