لا يَأكُل اللّحمَ بُغضاً مِن حَماقَتِهِ

وَالخلُّ كَالثَّومِ كَم فيه لَه ولَهُ

He does not eat meat out of foolishness

فَقلت مِنْ أَطيبِ الأَكلِ اللّحومُ ومَنْ

لَم يَأكل اللّحم عِندي لا مَذاقَ لَهُ
