1. الفَخرُ يَرقُصُ كَالمَسرورِ والطرِبِ

    وَالعِزُّ يَختالُ وَالعَلياءُ في طربِ

    Pride dances like joy and rapture

    And glory struts and the exalted in rapture

  2. إِذ أَصبَحَ المَجدُ هَذا الآن مُنكَشِفاً

    كَالشّمسِ بَعدَ التّواري غَيرَ مُحتَجِبِ

    When this glory is now unveiled

    Like the sun after being hidden, not concealed

  3. تَبدو عَلى الشّرَفِ الأَعلى كَواكِبُهُ

    وَالسّعدُ مَطلعها مَكشوفَةَ الحُجُبِ

    Its stars appear at the highest nobility

    And good fortune is unveiled, without veils

  4. وَالكَونُ يَرقُصُ بِالأَكمامِ مِن فَرَحٍ

    كَرَقصَةِ السّقفِ بِالأَقمارِ وَالشّهبِ

    And the universe dances with sleeves of joy

    Like the dancing of the ceiling with moons and shooting stars

  5. يُبدي مِنَ الرّقصِ ما أَضحى وَلا عجبٌ

    يَقضي بِهِ عَجباً ناهيكَ مِن عَجَبِ

    It shows in dance what has become not strange

    It amazes, let alone causes wonder

  6. بَشيرهُ جاءَنا فيهِ يبشِّرنا

    يَطيرُ فَوقَ مُتونِ الأَيْنُقِ النُّجُبِ

    Its harbinger came to us, giving us good news

    Flying above elegant, refined stems

  7. يَجُرُّ ذَيلَ سُرورٍ مِن بَشائِرِهِ

    وَذاكَ أَحسنُ مَجرورٍ وَمُنسحِبِ

    Dragging the tail of happiness from its good news

    Which is the best of what is dragged and flows

  8. جاءَت بِهِ كتبٌ فيهِ تُبَشّرُنا

    مِن نَحوِ دارِ العُلى لِلعُجْمِ وَالعَرَبِ

    Books came with it, giving us good news

    From near the Abode of Sublimity, for non-Arabs and Arabs

  9. دارُ السّعادَةِ وَالإِسعادِ حَيثُ بِها

    بابُ المُرادِ وَنيلُ القصرِ والأربِ

    The Abode of Felicity and Making Felicitous, wherein

    Is the door of wishes, attaining the palace and meadows

  10. دارُ المَليكِ اِبن عُثمان الّذي خَضَعَت

    لَهُ المُلوكُ بِلا شَكٍّ ولا رِيَبِ

    The Abode of the King, son of Osman, to whom

    Kings have submitted, without doubt or suspicion

  11. وَأَنبَأتنا بِهذا المَجدِ تُسندهُ

    عَن مُسنَدِ الصّدقِ لا عَن مسنَدِ الكَذبِ

    And this glory was conveyed to us by Books

    From the dais of truth, not the dais of lies

  12. وَالكتبُ أَنباؤُها لا شَكّ صادِقَةٌ

    ما السّيفُ أَصدقُ إِنباءً مِنَ الكتبِ

    And the books, their news is certainly truthful

    No sword relays news truer than books

  13. وَبَعدهُ المَجدُ قَد وافى بِمَوكِبِهِ

    بِرُتبَةٍ قَد غَدَت مِن أَرفَعِ الرتبِ

    And after it glory arrived with its procession

    At a rank made of the highest ranks

  14. في جَحفَلِ العِزِّ وَالعَلياءِ في شَرفٍ

    في دَولَةٍ قَد أَضاءَت جَبهةَ الحقبِ

    In the army of glory and exaltation, in nobility

    In a state that illuminated the brows of eras

  15. تَربو المَعالي بِها وَالخير يَحضنها

    وَالسّعدُ يَخدِمُها في غايَةِ الأَدَبِ

    The sublime grows in it, and goodness nurtures it

    And good fortune serves it with utmost courtesy

  16. وَاليُمْن يَلزَمُها وَالنّصرُ يَعضُدها

    وَالعَدلُ يَحفَظُها في الدّهرِ من رِيَبِ

    And prosperity accompanies it, and victory supports it

    And justice protects it in time from suspicion

  17. أَحسِنْ بِها دَولةً تَبني دَعائِمَها

    على الهُدى وَالتّقى مَرفوعَةَ القببِ

    You have made it the best state, erecting its pillars

    On guidance and piety, lofty domes

  18. مُرتاحَةٌ بَل وَمُرتاحٌ بِها أَبداً

    تَخلو الزّمانَ عَنِ الإِتعابِ وَالتّعَبِ

    Relaxed, nay relaxing forever in it

    Time is devoid of fatigue and toil

  19. وَإِنّها ميرَميران يُقالُ لَها

    أَطيبْ بِذا الإِسم بَينَ الإِسم وَاللّقَبِ

    And it is Mirmiran, called

    Most fragrant with this name, between name and title

  20. أَتَت إِلى أَهلِها وَالمُستَحِقّ لَها

    شَمس الكَمالِ شَريف النَّفسِ وَالحسَبِ

    It came to its people, the deserving of it

    The sun of perfection, noble of self and lineage

  21. بَدرُ السّيادَةِ طَودُ المَجدِ شامِخُهُ

    نَجمُ السّعادَةِ لَم يَأفل وَلَم يَغِبِ

    The full moon of sovereignty, towering glory

    Star of felicity, never setting or disappearing

  22. إِنسانُ عَينِ المَعالي نورُ مُقلَتِها

    وَحُسنُها الرائِقُ الخالي عَنِ القَهَبِ

    A human, essence of the sublime, light of its eyes

    And its radiant, immaculate beauty

  23. السّيِّدُ الماجدُ المَشهورُ سُؤددهُ

    وَسُؤدُدُ المَرءِ ما أَسناهُ مِن نَسَبِ

    The eminent master, the renowned, his ancestry

    And a man's ancestry is what he attained of lineage

  24. الأَفخَمُ الشّهمُ عبدُ اللَّهِ مَن ضُرِبَت

    لَهُ السّيادَة روقاً ثابِتَ الطنبِ

    The most splendid, the bold, Abdullah who

    Mastery was molded for, steady pillar

  25. الضّيثَمُ الدّوسَكُ الصنديدُ مَن رَهبت

    مِنهُ الأُسودُ وَإِن لَو كانَ لَم يَثِبِ

    The lion, the doyen, the mighty, who awed

    Lions, even if he had not roared

  26. يَسطو بِهَيبَتِه تَعنو الأُسودُ لَها

    وَقَد تَرَدَّت بِثَوبِ الرّعبِ وَالرّهبِ

    With his might lionesses submit to him

    Having donned the garb of awe and fear

  27. تَروح واضِعَةَ الأَيدي عَلى كَبِدٍ

    تَحقّقاً أَنّها آلَت إِلى العَطَبِ

    Advancing with hands on bosom

    Realizing they have fallen into demise

  28. ما بالُه لَو سَطا يَوماً بِأسمرهِ

    أَو هَزَّ قاضبه القطّاع لِلقُضبِ

    What if he pounced one day with his brown horse

    Or shook his slicing sword, the pruner of necks

  29. ما سَلَّ قرضابه الإِصْليتُ ثمّ سَطا

    أَلا تَرى كُلَّ عَضبٍ سالَ في القُرُبِ

    If his etching blade had slit then pounced

    Do you not see every fury poured in the tombs

  30. لَكِنَّما الحلمُ يَعلوهُ فَتَحسبهُ

    أَضحى لِكَثرَتِهِ يَنصَبُّ في صَبَبِ

    But forbearance prevails over him, so you reckon him

    To have poured from his abundant forbearance a downpour

  31. طَلقُ المُحَيّا ضَحوك الثَّغرِ باسِمُهُ

    عَذبُ المَلافِظِ بَل تَحلو على الضربِ

    Smooth-faced, smiling, named

    Sweet articulated, nay sweeter than a slap

  32. يَفتَرُّ عَن شَنب وَهوَ الهِزبرُ وَما

    سِواهُ في الأسدِ بِالمُفترِّ عَن شنَبِ

    He frolics, not grim, yet he is the lion, for none

    Other than him among lions frolics un-grim

  33. شِبلُ الأَميرِ عَليٍّ غِيثَ مَضْجَعُه

    بِسحِّ غَيثٍ مِنَ الرّضوانِ مُنسَكِبِ

    The cub of the Prince Ali, rain of his resting place

    With pouring rain of acceptance, pouring

  34. وَتلكَ رُتبة عُليا تَورَّثها

    عَن كابِرٍ كابِراً في المَجدِ وَالحَسبِ

    And that is a sublime rank he inherited

    From senior to senior in glory and lineage

  35. إِنّي أُهَنّئُ جذلاناً سَعادتهُ

    بِهذِهِ الرّتبَةِ العلياءِ في الحقبِ

    I congratulate Jathlan on his felicity

    With this sublime rank in time

  36. وَخِلتها إِذ أَتَتهُ لا يَزالُ بِها

    في الدّهرِ أَرِّخ بَهيّاً أَشرَفَ الرّتَبِ

    And it came to him, he will remain with it

    In time depicted most honorable of ranks

  37. يا أَيّها السّيّدُ الصمصامُ لا بَرِحَت

    بِكَ المَعالي بِعِزٍّ غَيرِ مُنقَضِبِ

    O eminent chief, glory never stopped

    Being with you with unwavering might

  38. تَزهو بِشَرخِ شَبابٍ راقَ رَونَقُهُ

    تَشبّ فيك وَلَم تهرم وَلَم تَشبِ

    It blooms with the dawn of radiant youth

    Maturing in you, neither withering nor graying

  39. تَمتَدُّ مِن جاهِك الأَسمى الرّفيع عَلى

    أَوجِ السّماكِ وَفَوقَ الأَنجُمُ الشّهبِ

    It extends from your supreme, lofty eminence

    To the zenith of the sky, above the shooting stars

  40. إِلَيكَ بِنتَ اِفتكارٍ زانَها خَفر

    تَختالُ بِالدلِّ في حُسنٍ وَفي أَدبِ

    To you came a creation of ingenuity adorned with charm

    Sashaying with coquetry in beauty and courtesy

  41. تَسقيكَ مِن عَذبِ مَعناها الرّقيق طُلىً

    أَحلى مِنَ الشّهدِ تُزري بِاِبنَةِ العنبِ

    Quenching you from the sweet, delicate essence of its meaning

    Sweeter than honey, outshining grapes

  42. بِنت الفَصاحَةِ في حُسنِ البديعِ بَدَت

    لَها البَلاغَةُ قَد أَضحَت أَجلَّ أَبِ

    Daughter of eloquence, appearing beautifully ornate

    In the beauty of rhetorical ingenuity

  43. مِنها المَحاسِنُ فاضَت مِن بَلاغَتِها

    كَأَنّها النورُ إِذ يَبدو مِنَ اللّهَبِ

    From it, beauties poured from its eloquence

    As if it were light appearing from flame

  44. في مَدحِكَ العالِ زينَت مِن جَواهِرِهِ

    بِزينَةِ الدّرِّ وَالمرجانِ وَالذّهبِ

    Adorning your high praise with its gems

    With adornment of pearls, coral, and gold

  45. جاءَت إِلَيكَ أَخا العَلياءِ جاريَةً

    لِقبلةِ الكفِّ وَالأَذيال وَالعتبِ

    It came to you, brother of the sublime, as a slave girl

    For kissing of palm and train and threshold

  46. تَرجو وَتَأملُ إِحساناً وَتَكرُمَة

    منكَ الرّضا فَهوَ أَسنى القصدِ وَالطّلبِ

    She hopes and aspires for kindness and generosity

    From you, approval, for it is the best aim and quest

  47. فَاِنظُر بِعَينِ قَبولٍ نَحوَها كَرَماً

    فَمَن تَرجّاك لَم يُطرَد وَلَم يخبِ

    So look upon her with accepting eyes, generously

    For whoever hopes in you is not dismissed or disappointed

  48. وَاِسلَم وَدُم في ضَمانِ اللَّهِ مُحتمياً

    مِن كُلِّ مُؤذٍ وَلَو كالهمِّ والنّصبِ

    And be safe, living in God’s protection,

    From every harm, even worries and adversity

  49. ما قامَ في مِنبَرِ الأَغصانِ يَخطبنا

    خَطيب وُرْقٍ فَأَبدى أَطرَب الخطبِ

    No orator ascended the pulpit of branches, addressing us

    With the most wondrous speech

  50. ما لاحَ بَرقٌ وَسُلطانُ النّهارِ أَتى

    وَعَسكَرُ اللّيلِ وَلَّى راكِبَ الهربِ

    No lightning flashed and the sultan of day came

    And the army of night turned away, fleeing

  51. وَما القَصيدُ بِحُسنِ المَدحِ مختتمٌ

    حسنَ الختامِ تَحلّى حِلية العَجبِ

    Nor is the ode concluded with excellently praising

    It adorned the excellent conclusion, dressed in wonder
