We have souls passionately devoted to gaining honor.
We have souls that yearn to attain honor,
Had they forgotten it, we would have shed them.
If it were to be within our reach, we would have grasped it.
And honor has no abode other than our home,
And honor has no refuge but our home,
Like the sun, whose abode has never been other than the sky.
Like the sun, nothing but the sky could be its abode.
