In the full moon's light, I beheld a gazelle,
By the light of the moon I saw a gazelle
Who shone upon it with the radiance of his cheek.
Whose cheek outshone the rays that on it fell.
So I said, "A full moon is paired with a full moon,
I cried, "The moon's conjoined with a likeness fair!"
And a thing's likeness is drawn to it."
For like must to its like be drawn, that's plain to tell.
