Sol 6

  1. O You who answer those who ask,

    And You are the best of helpers,

  2. Grant victory to our king,

    And be his helper.

  3. To You, my Lord, we submit,

    In humility, and we bow reverently;

  4. And in prayer we raise

    Our hands to You, humbly.

  5. O You who answer whoever calls,

    Hoping for acceptance,

  6. Far be it from You, after our prayer,

    That we should be turned away disappointed.

  7. By the Divine Essence and the attributes,

    And the books and the signs,

  8. O Hearer of voices,

    Grant victory to the armies of the Muslims.

  9. My Lord, by the names,

    O Giver of blessings,

  10. O Raiser of the sky,

    Strengthen the soldiers of the believers.

  11. By the Chosen One, the Elect,

    By his pure family,

  12. By his virtuous companions,

    Destroy the armies of the unbelievers.

  13. By the prophets and messengers,

    And the scholars who act on their knowledge,

  14. And the saints and the righteous,

    Hasten victory for the believers.

  15. My Lord, by the angels,

    By the God-fearing and the devout,

  16. Graciously come with victory to the aid of

    The armies of those who affirm God's oneness.

  17. Bestow victory and favor,

    By the revered Chosen One,

  18. And by Your Sacred House,

    And grant victory to the leader of the Muslims:

  19. Our Sultan Mahmud,

    Our fortunate king.

  20. Keep his good fortune lasting,

    And protect him, Lord of the worlds.

  21. The vicegerent of the majestic Lord,

    And His sheltering shade for us;

  22. So be his guardian,

    Our Lord, at every moment.

  23. Guide his judgments aright;

    Be the destroyer of his enemies,

  24. And grant his banner

    Victory and a manifest conquest.

  25. For the victory of Your upright religion,

    He has risen with a sound heart.

  26. Help him, my generous Lord,

    To champion Your steadfast religion.

  27. For Your true religion, show zeal;

    Grant victory, O Lord of humankind.

  28. Never let those who disbelieve

    Prevail over the believers.

  29. A people have transgressed against us,

    And have gone too far in corruption,

  30. And have inclined toward error,

    And have fought us as aggressors.

  31. They have broken their covenants,

    And failed to keep their promises.

  32. My Lord, remove them from existence,

    And count them among the destroyed.

  33. Unsheathe against them a sword of vengeance,

    For they are a base people.

  34. They did not honor their pledge to us;

    They have risen against us.

  35. Lower their banners for us;

    Make their feet tremble;

  36. With our sword, cut off their heads,

    And sever their vital arteries.

  37. Make their children orphans through us;

    Bring their men to an end through us;

  38. Cut short their lives through us,

    By the Chosen One, Taha the Trustworthy.

  39. My Lord, ruin their homes;

    My Lord, extinguish their fire;

  40. And erase their traces through us;

    Bring destruction upon them all.

  41. Scatter their plans through us;

    Make their women widows for us;

  42. Hasten their end through us;

    And leave them fallen on the ground.

  43. My Lord, scatter their ranks;

    My Lord, hasten their killing;

  44. My Lord, hasten the time when they become

    Spoils for the Muslims.

  45. My Lord, disperse their gathering;

    My Lord, continue their suppression;

  46. My Lord, hasten their destruction

    By the sword of the believers' army.

  47. My Lord, with thunderbolts,

    And with crushing punishment,

  48. And with devastating affliction,

    Seize them all, my God.

  49. Upon them, the scourge of torment

    Pour, and continue the punishment;

  50. And on the day of battle, make them

    Afraid of us and bewildered.

  51. Be generous, my Lord, in burning them,

    And likewise in drowning them.

  52. My Lord, against their necks

    Give power to the swords of the Muslims.

  53. And make their own plotting

    Bring about their destruction;

  54. By it, turn their fate

    Toward ruin.

  55. Our Lord, Lord of all people,

    Cleanse the land of them;

  56. Seize them as You seized ʿĀd,

    Among the peoples of old.

  57. Our God, our God,

    Bless us with happiness,

  58. With what we desire:

    The victory of the believers.

  59. And grant victory to those of faith

    Over those given to tyranny,

  60. And unbelief and aggression,

    The deniers, the losers.

  61. Our Lord, You are Peace;

    Bestow blessings and peace

  62. Upon the one who was the last

    Of the prophets and messengers:

  63. Muhammad, the best of humankind,

    And his radiant, noble family,

  64. And his companions, those great companions

    Who brought honor to the followers.

  65. And forgive us our sins;

    And conceal our faults;

  66. Relieve us of our sorrows,

    For You are the most merciful.

  67. Grant us a good end from You,

    And save us on the Day of Crowding,

  68. By the noblest of the honored messengers,

    And by the noble recording angels.
