1. يا بتعة فاقت ببه

    جَتِها على كل البقاعِ

    O delights that surpassed delight

    Her beauty graced all lands

  2. فكأنها ياقوتةٌ

    حمراءُ تلمع في البقاعِ

    She's like a sparkling ruby

    That shines red over the lands

  3. أو مثل جوهرة ترو

    قك وهي من خيرِ المتاعِ

    Or a precious jewel that pleases you

    Among the best of possessions

  4. أو روضةٌ غنّاءُ وا

    رفةُ الظلالِ مع المراعِى

    Or a melodious garden, shaded

    With shadows and pastures

  5. أو جفةٌ قد زُخرفتْ

    حُسناً لمحمودِ المساعِى

    Or a beautiful ornamented bowl

    For the praised traveler

  6. أو غادةَ غَرّاءُ وا

    ضحة الترائبِ والقناعِ

    Or a radiant, charming gazelle

    With braids and veils

  7. تتلألأٌ الأنوارُ مِن

    حافاتِها مثلَ الشعاعِ

    Lights shine from

    Her edges like rays

  8. لو صُوِّرتْ شخصاً لكا

    نتْ سيداً حُلْوَ الطباعِ

    If she were portrayed as a person

    She'd be a sweet-natured lord

  9. من تحتها الأنهارُ تج

    رى دفعتين بلا اندفاعِ

    Under her, rivers flow

    Pushing without resistance

  10. عينٌ تسمّى عين منب

    كَ تحتها يا خيرَ داعِ

    A spring called Ain Mumbaq

    Below it, O best supplicant

  11. كالتبَّةِ الزرقاءِ في

    بطنِ الوهادِ أوِ القلاعِ

    Like the blue dome amid

    The valleys or the fortresses

  12. فانظرْ إلى ضَحْضَاحِها

    كالشمس ترمى بالشعَاعِ

    So look at her glittering

    Like the sun casting its rays

  13. تنقى القلوبَ من الوسا

    وسِ والرءوس من الصداعِ

    Purifying hearts from evil

    And heads from pain

  14. زُرْها وسَلَّ الهمَّ عن

    ك فماؤُها ينفى الدواعى

    Visit her and ask cares to leave

    For her water dispels sorrows

  15. فهْي التي في الحرِّ با

    ردةٌ تَقِى حَر البقاعِ

    She is the one who in summer

    Cools the heat of the lands

  16. يا سوقَ أهل العدل لس

    تُ على نواكِ بمُسْتطَاعِ

    O market of the just, you are not

    Beyond reach

  17. تجنى لك الثمرات من

    كلِّ البقاعِ بلا انقطاعِ

    Bearing fruits from all

    The lands without cease

  18. لا زلتَ سوقَ المسلمين

    مدى زمانِك في اتساعِ

    You remain the Muslims' market

    As long as you spread

  19. ومليكُكَ العدل المؤيَّدُ

    في علوٍّ وارتفاعِ

    And your just King, exalted

    In height and renown

  20. ذاكَ الإمامُ اليعربي

    بلعربِ ذو اتساعِ

    That Imam, pride of the Arabs

    With vastness

  21. حامِى حِمَى الإسلامِ با

    لقُضْبِ البَواترِ واليراعِ

    Guarding the sanctity of Islam

    With the swords and spears of warriors

  22. ذوُ العزِّ والعرضِ المصو

    نِ حِماه والمالِ المضاعِ

    The honorable and revered

    His protection and shared wealth

  23. نجلِ الإمام المرتضى

    سلطانَ سيدنا المطاعِ

    Son of the exemplary Imam

    Our Sultan, the obeyed

  24. هو نسلُ سيفٍ نجلُ ما

    لكه الفتى البطلِ الشجاعِ

    He descends from a sword, son of his

    Heroic, valiant ancestor
