1. نَهِيمُ بهم وجداً ونحنُ بقربهمْ

    فكيف بنا يوماً إذا مَا تَرَحَّلُوا

    We sympathize with them in deep sorrow while we are close to them,

    So how would we feel one day when they depart?

  2. فلا نافِعي يوماً سلوَّا ولا أَسىً

    ولا شَايِعي يوماً بُكا وتَوَلْوُلُ

    No helpers on a day of anguish, no comfort for grief,

    No mourners on a day of weeping and convulsion.

  3. نَهارِي إذا أصبحتُ بكرٌ وحيرةٌ

    وليلىِ إذا أُمسِى جوىً وتململُ

    My days when dawn breaks are perplexed and confused,

    My nights when dusk falls are boiling and restless.

  4. نَصِيبي من الأحبابِ صَدٌّ وفرقةٌ

    وَمِن أهل دهرِى شامتونَ وعُذَّلُ

    My share of loved ones is estrangement and separation,

    And from the people of my time there are gloating and humiliation.

  5. تلألأُ إشراقاً ونوراً كأنها

    شموسٌ تجلَّتْ بالضياء المكمَّلِ

    She sparkles radiantly with light as if

    Suns have appeared with perfect splendor.

  6. هنيئاً إمامَ المسلمين بها وبا

    لإقامةِ فيها والأعادِي بمَعْزِلِ

    Congratulations to the Imam of the Muslims for her and for

    Residing in her while the enemies are excluded.

  7. وبهنا بها قومٌ يُراعونَ ودّكُمْ

    من الخلق طُرّاً من صغير وأكْهُلِ

    And with her there are people who cherish your affection

    Above all mankind, young and old.

  8. فطُوبى لكم يا آلَ يعربَ إنكُمْ

    نشأتُم بجدٍّ في الممالكِ مُقبِلِ

    Good tidings to you O family of Ya’rub for you

    Were brought up with excellence in glorious realms.

  9. ولا زِلْتُمُ في نعمةٍ وكَرَامةٍ

    مِنَ الدَّهر في أَعْلَى مَحلّْ مجللِ

    And you continue to enjoy favor and nobility

    From fate, at the highest honored position.

  10. وعِشْ يا فَتى سلطان سيف بن مالكٍ

    سلالةِ زهرانَ المليكِ المجلَّل

    Live long O brave Sultan Saif bin Malik

    Of the bright lineage of the most honored king.

  11. يمُلْكٍ أثيلٍ في نعيمٍ مخلَّدٍ

    وعيشٍ رغيدٍ بالتهاني مُجْملِ

    In an everlasting blissful kingdom,

    And pleasant life of congratulations and perfection.

  12. وفي عامِ ألفٍ معْ ثمان تمامُها

    كذَا مائةٌ في عدِّ كلِّ مُؤَمِّلِ

    And in the year one thousand plus eight is its end,

    Thus one hundred in the count of every hopeful one.
