وَإِنّي أَكمُنُ السِرَّ عِندي وَإِن أَتى

لِذلِكَ مِن عَهدِ الأَمانَةِ حينُ

And I conceal the secret within me, even if

The time of trustworthiness has passed,

كُمونَ النَوى لا يَشعُرُ الناسُ أَنَّهُ

ثَوى في رُفاتِ الأَرضِ وَهوَ دَفينُ

As the intent is hidden, people do not feel

That it lies in the softness of the earth, buried
