لا تعجبوا للمرءِ يُجهل قَدْرُهُ

أبداً ويُعرف غيرُه فيعيّر

Don't wonder at a man who is ignorant of his own value

Always while others are known and he is blamed

فالعينُ تبصرُ غيرها من بُعده

شيئاً ولكنْ نفسَها لا تبصرُ

For the eye sees others from afar

Yet cannot see itself
