بتعديل قدٍّ وتوريد خدِّ

كحمرة ورد علاه الندا

with a slim waist and flowing locks

like red rose bedecked with dew.

وخصر رقيق وقدِّ رشيق

وحسن أنيق يفوق الورى

A delicate waist and elegant stature,

a beauty beyond compare.

وطيب المقيل بقرب الخليل

وظل ظليل بدار العلا

The goodness of rest near the beloved

and shade's protection in the home on high

سيلقى مناه وأقصى رضاه

بمولىً يراه فذاك المنى

will find its fulfilment and utmost delight

in the Master seen - that is the goal.
