1. إِنَّ السُؤالَ فَعَدِّ عَنهُ قَليلُهُ

    ثَمَنٌ لِكُلِّ عَطِيَّةٍ أَو مالِ

    Asking questions, though little, still has a price

    For every gift or possession comes at a cost

  2. وَالحالُ تَقعُدُ بِالكَريمِ فَما تَرى

    فيهِ لِعِزَّتِهِ تَغَيُّرَ حالِ

    Yet dignity sits with the generous, unchanged

    Honor within, riches without, matters most
