Seek the middle path through life's journeys,

And turn away from doubt's tempting side,

Close off your hearing to ugly words,

As you guard your tongue from speaking them.

For when you hear what should not be said,

You share the blame with who uttered it.

How greed has led many seekers astray,

To find only death at their journey's end.
