قالوا بهِ حولٌ يُشانُ بهِ

حُسنُ محيّاه أيّما شينِ

They said madness was in him, and he did appear mad.

فقلت حاشاه بل أشار إلى ال

وصلِ بعينٍ تصبّ في عينِ

United in vision, pouring into my eyes."
