    O companion, serenity has gathered

And we seized the chance of seclusion

We took the lamps of the sky

    And turned them into cups

We were met by the tidings of spring

With its gifts upon the cheeks of the meadows

And time brought us an intercessor

So we forgave it for what it had sinned

And we dwelled in the sanctuary of an impenetrable fortress

And safety from the eyes of monitors

The sea looks at us modestly

Seeing the sea of dew in the gathering

Then after our sighs had lifted it up

    Its tears flow down

As if the flowers are smiling

With the breeze of gentle wind in their mouths

It tried to hide but when exposed

    Its cheeks shone with sweat

So when the sun of morning rises

It sips what was left from its mouth

As if the river displayed a bracelet

    Woven of silk

The rushes tried to kiss it but

It was not disturbed except by the eyes of the narcissi

As if the moon is a fascinated child

Who wanted to knock on the door of the beloved

So it hid in the robes of darkness

Like one who fears the watcher

So when dawn uncovered the wrappings

The chirping of the swallows woke it

Does the direction of spring know, when it intended

    That it revived all souls?

While it is in the cold and flutter, not as

The breeze of morning played with ember

My master, your standing has wearied the aspiring

And for all virtues, you are most deserving

So enjoy its pleasures without delay

And take the easy, smooth enjoyment

That the mind of an easy child can hardly attain

Does the gazelle of sanctuary know that it has protected

The heart of one in love taken from snares?

While it is in heat and flutter like

The morning breeze played with ember
