The sly fox wrapped in robes
To distract us with the opening verse
And met us with chuckles and a face
Blackened by water, clad in dark garb
Baring sharp fangs overlaid
With flies' droppings
And startled our group with a raven
May Allah protect us from its harm
Cackling around us, seeming a bear
Relating this nonsense and barking
Snorting, foul-smelling, stinking
Unfamiliar with the scent of sweet basil
Examining us, clad in gray
The sun hiding her face behind a veil
Like pitch black lions that live only
To eat jerboas and float on mirages
Indeed he has become despised, so much so
He's called "Sasi" for his awful livelihood
