إِذ الناسُ ناسٌ وَالعِبادُ بِغِرَّةٍ

وِإِذ نَحنُ لَم تَدبِب إِلَينا الشَبادِعُ

When people were people and worshipers with deceit

And when we were not haunted by misfortunes
