في أَزيزاقتدارِهِ

Hear the water speaking

In the murmur of its might,

كلُّ عودٍ سقيتُهُ

قد كواني بنارهِ

Each stick I watered

Kindled into fire for me.

هَكَذا انت أَيُّها ال

مُبتَلى بالمَكارهِ

Even so are you,

O you afflicted by misfortunes -

كُلُّ مَن قد نفعتَهُ

تَجتَزي من مَضارِهِ

All whose wants you filled

Will render back your benefits.
