فرنسيس الزَنانيريُّ انشا

زِفافاً قد زها جاهاً وعزّا

The wedding has brought him glory and honor

Beauty has led the sun to him

لَقَد زفَّ البهآءُ اليهِ شمساً

غدت منهُ لبدر التيمِّ تُعزى

It became for the full moon a consolation

So I said, and I recorded the date of its celebration

فَقُلتُ وَبالبها ارَّختُ لاحَت

اتَت للصفو والإِيناس رمزا

It came as a symbol of purity and intimacy
