رَسمٌ لَهُ الشرفُ العظيم لانهُ

من نورِ وجهكَ مستمدنورا

A depicted revered so highly

For from the light of your face he draws light

فكانهُ قمرٌ وانتَ الشمسُ اذ

يغدو أَمامكَ في الظلام مُنيرا

As though he were a moon while you

The sun, illuminating darkness
