بدر الكمال اليهِ قد زفَّ الهنا

شمسَ الجمال ببرج يُمنٍ اسعدا

The full moon of perfection rose to him

The sun of beauty with auspicious Gemini ascended

روضٌ نَضيرٌ للمكارم وَالعُلى

لا بدع فيهِ ان يُحَيّهُ النَدى

A meadow, refreshing with generosity and nobility

Where the dew must revive its flowers

هَذا السَليمُ كما يسمىّ سالماً

مِمّا يُحاولُ حاسدوهُ والعدى

This unblemished one, as his name denotes, is peaceful

Despite the jealous and hostile acts against him

أَلِفَ الندى بيدٍ نؤَرّخ بَذلَها

حتىّ لَقَد أَمسى قَريناً للنَدى

His generosity made him intimate with bounty

That he came to be a companion of altruism
