يا حبَّذا رتبةٌ تقلَّدها

اهلٌ لما فوقها من التُحفِ

O what a rank, conferred upon the worthy,

Reserved for those of merit high above,

ذو رُتبةٍ فوقها مؤَرَّخةً

قد فازَ عزّاً برتبةِ الشرفِ

He of high station, gloriously recorded,

Has gained great honor, rank of prestige and love.
