O Lord, what have my eyes brought upon my body

Of sickness, if only the eyes had not existed

The soul would not have gone except at its glance

It is enough for it to see the owned possesses me

My body and my soul tied in shackles

Assigned with prolonged illness and grief

Enamored with a full moon that is all innovation

O Lord, take for them from His beautiful face
