تَباركَ اللَهُ كيفَ الثغرُ والنحرُ

وما يلي ذاكَ والأردافُ والخَصرُ

Blessed is Allah, how the mouth and throat are

And what follows that, the breasts and waist are

وسُنةٌ لم يواريها مظلمُهُ

ليلٌ هي الهجرُ لا بل مثلُها الفَجرُ

And a tooth that its darkness did not cover

The night of separation is not, but the dawn is like it

إذا بدا شغلَ الأنظارَ منظرُهُ

في كلِّ ناحيةٍ من وجههِ بَدرُ

When the sight of his face occupies the sights

In every part of his face is a full moon

يدِبُّ من لحظهِ في جسمِ لاحظهِ

ما يفعلُ السحرُ في الأبدانِ والخَمرُ

Flowing from his glances in the body of the beholder
