1. نامَ عُذالي وَلم أنمِ

    واشتفَى الواشونَ من سَقمي

    My tormentors blamed me though I was blameless

    And those who reproached me were healed of their own illness.

  2. وإذا ما قلتُ بي ألمٌ

    شكَّ مَن أهواهُ في ألمي

    When I complain of pain within me,

    My beloved doubts the truth of my agony.
