دُم على الهجرِ وزدني كمدا

Lament for the heart because of what it has found

عِش وكانَ الوجدُ بي متصلاً

لا أقولُ اليومَ أشكو أو غدا

Live on as the passion within me remains unbroken

I won't say today I complain or tomorrow

إن للصبر لغباً حسنا

ينجزُ الله به ما وَعدا

Patience has a beautiful side

God fulfills through it what He has promised
