A light embodied, not sun nor moon

But a human, peerless among men

Had he shone like the sun, eyes would feast

Dazzled, not a glance his way they'd send

My eyes still seek him though gone from sight

If he returns not, vision they'll rescind

His beauty no eye has glimpsed before

To eyes he brings tears and sleepless nights
