أصبحتُ آملُ أن أموتَ فأعتقا

Whoever desires to live, as for me

في الموتِ ألفُ فضيلةٍ لو أنَّها

عُرفَت لكانَ سبيلهُ أن يُعشَقا

In death there are a thousand virtues, if only

They were known, the path to death would be loved
