لا تَقْنَطَنَّ إِذْا ما حَالَةٌ عَسُرَتْ

وَكُنْ بِإِصْلاَحِها مُسْتَوثِقَ الأمَلِ

Do not despair when a situation becomes difficult

And be firmly hopeful of rectifying it

كانَتْ بِجِيرُونَ أَوْساخٌ فَحِينَ شَكَتْ

أَغاثَها رَبُّها بِالصَّاحِبِ بنِ عَلِي

Jairoon was in dire straits and when it complained

Its Lord relieved it through al-Saahib bin 'Ali

هُوَ الإِمامُ الَّذِي لَولا هِدايَتُهُ

تَحَيَّرَ النَّاسُ فِي قَوْلٍ وفِي عَمَلِ

He is the Imam who, if not for his guidance

People would have been confused in word and deed
