Watered and grazed in the monastery of Zindaward

And what it contains and gathers of comfort and basil,

A monastery where cups are passed around inebriated

From the palm of a sickly, weak-eyed, toothless man,

The lute accompanies the flute harmoniously,

As the melody is perfected by a twig of ebony,

And the people are chaos, you see this one kissing that one,

And that man is an evil man over another man,

This while the Tigris is presented to viewers

And birds call out between branches,

Land and sea, the land’s game is nearby

And the sea swims its banks with whales.
