يا حادياً للمرحله

الزادُ قبل الراحله

O guide of the journey

Provision before departure

يا سوء ما قدمته

والنفس مني غافله

Oh how evil my deeds

While my soul remains unaware

لم ينهني ذكر الحسا

ب ولا رهبت زلازله

Warnings of ruin left me unmoved

Fearing not even earthquakes

وتحكم الشيطان في فما

اتقيت حبائله

Satan controlling my tongue

I avoided his snares

قال الذي يحدو استعذ

باللَه واتل البسمله

He who rises says seek refuge

In God and recite the Basmala

قم نق قلبك من هوى الدنيا

وخل الأمر له

Rise, cleanse your heart of worldly love

And leave matters to Him

وأجهد لفرضك أده

ثم اجتهد في النافله

Exert yourself in obligatory deed

Then strive in extras

فإذا دأبت على الخلا

ق السمح سر في القافله

If you persist in good character

Join the righteous caravan
