When will I be free from the eternity of immortality, O Na

And my soul is barefoot near the Throne

So my soul is squeezed now by the cage in which

I complained of the misery of imprisonment, if I take shelter

It is the weak body, even if it was a prison

We will leave that feeble one on the bier

So my Lord under the Throne in the Garden of Pleasure

You see me with the righteous taking a mattress

There where the soul strives for bliss

And in its wounded chest it resonates in elation

And from its wounded sides my strength and my strength

And from its gushing basin I quench my thirst and revive

And from its promised goodness, maiden companions

When I ask for pleasure I find a bed for me

And in its outstretched shade unknown pleasures

They were in the world of dishevelment and dust

It is the unknown world, had it not been described

With arranged couches embroidered with ornaments

The world is now filled and its pleasures distasteful

Was it anything but deception and folly?

When we value it and consider its goods

There is nothing but clothes, water and food

So guide me my light to salvation and watch over me

And do not leave me wandering in its paths

Blessed are You, O Sustainer of jinn and mankind

And O Provider of sustenance for birds and beasts

My sufficiency is but a glimpse of pardon and pleasure

Even if I lived on salt in rags
