    —ld takes pride, and every quarter glories in your good fortune.

  4. Journey to Egypt: following in your wake comes good for—

    —tune, while lofty glory urges your caravan onward.

  5. Restore her delight with your face, despite the day—

    —s; from the light of its beauty streams radiance.

  6. And lavish upon her, from your bounty, rain-showers

    whose torrents the rain-bearing stars fall short of matching.

  7. Then return safely, with glad tid—

    —ings attending you, while prosperity hastens before you.

  8. Indeed, a mouth you knew, in your presence, to be smil—

    —ing—happiness has forsaken it until you return.

  9. Do not prolong its grief by remaining far from it;

    for it has a burning thirst, and you are the water.

  10. O cure for time and circumstance, when a calamity grows intract—

    —able and its remedy becomes hard to find.

  11. Surely, in a land that hastens toward you, de—

    —light makes its home, and serenity chooses it for its own.

  12. And whenever you journey from one land to another,

    heaven envies its earth because of you.
