عِش لِلعُلا مَولى وَذُخرا

وَاِسطَع بِأُفقِ السَعدِ بَدرا

Live for the Most High as a master and treasure

And shine on the horizon of happiness like a full moon

وَتَحُلُّ أَعيادُ الزَما

نِ بَواسِماً بِحُلاكَ ثَغرا

And the festivals of time smile

With your smiles that make mouths blossom

وَاحكم فحُكمُك في البَرِي

يَةِ نافذٌ نَهياً وَأَمرا

And rule, for your rule in existence

Is effective, a prohibition and command

فَلَقَد مَلأتَ مهابَةً

وَهوىً قُلوبَ الناسِ طُرّا

For you have filled with awe

And passion the hearts of people, flying high

سَمّيتَ باسم محمَّدٍ

فَحُمِدتَ أَفعالا وَذِكرا

Named after the name of Muhammad

So your actions and mention are praised

وَدُعيتَ توفيقا فَكن

تَ بغايَة التَوفيقِ أَحرى

And you are called success, so be

The utmost of success, yes truly

حَلَفَ الزَمانُ بِأَن يُوَف

فِيكَ المُنى فَوَفى وَبَرّا

Time has sworn to fulfill

For you wishes, and it fulfilled and acted honestly

وَغَدا يَسوقُ لك السرو

رَ وَحظُّه في أَن تُسَرّا

And tomorrow it leads for you ease

And its luck is in making you happy

هذا جُلوسُك عيدهُ

مَلأَ المَلا بِشرا وَبُشرى

This is your sitting, its celebration

Filled the high assembly with good news and glad tidings

يومٌ بِطابَعِ يُمنهِ

وجهُ الزمان غدا أَغرّا

A day with the stamp of its prosperity

The face of time tomorrow becomes lighter

أَلبَستَه مِنَناً تَهُز

زُ معاطِفَ الأَيّام كِبرا

You clothed it with favors that

Shake the cloaks of days violently

وَإِبابُ عبّاسٍ كسا

هُ جلابِباً لِلحُسن أَخرى

And Abbas's inspiration dressed

It in other fine robes of beauty

حَنَّت إِلَيهِ تَشَوُّقا

مصرٌ فعاد يَؤُمّ مِصرا

Egypt longed for it yearningly

So it came to settle in Egypt

من بعد ما طافَ المَما

لكَ عابِراً بَرّا وَبَحرا

After it circled the realms

Traveling by land and sea

وَأَرى المَغارِبَ طَلعةً

يُتلى الكمالُ بها وَيُقرا

And I see the West as a rising

Where perfection is recited and settled

وَمَكارما منك اِستَمَدَّ

جَمالها غَضّا وَنَضرا

And noble deeds it derived

From you, fresh and blossoming

وَمَطارفا لِلفَضلِ أَن

تَ بِلُبسها في الكَون أَدرى

And horizons for virtue for you

To don in the universe, more knowing

وَمخايلا من والدٍ

فوق النجوم الشُهبِ قَدرا

And inclinations from a father

Above the stars' orbits, determining fate

قد صَيَّرت كلَّ الجَوا

رحِ وَالقلوبِ لدَيه أَسرى

You have taken prisoner all the minds

And hearts beside it

فَاِهنَأ به وَبِصِنوِهِ

إِذ أَشبَهاكَ علاً وَفَخرا

So congratulate yourself and your making

For they resemble you in height and pride

فَبِفَضلِ ذا وَبِمِثلِ ذا

حقٌّ لِعَينِك أَن تَقَرّا

For by the merit of this and the like of this

Is your eye right to settle
