O you who outshines the full moon whenever it rises

And the knight of horses on the day they were all worn out

I congratulate you on the robe of honor you were granted

That captured the hearts of your enemies and the envious alike

So say to the one who reproached you if you prevail over him

A true saying that benefits those who hear it

What pride is there in one adorned with robes

Pride is in one who adorns the robes
