لَنا طَبيبٌ شاعِرٌ أَشتَرُ
أَراحَنا مِن شَخصِهِ اللَهُ
We have a doctor who is a poet I bought
God has given us relief through his person
ما عادَ في صُبحَةِ يَومٍ فَتىً
إِلّا وَفي باقيهِ وَفّاهُ
No longer is there in the morning of a day a young man
Unless in the rest of it his mouth healed him
