لا بارَكَ الرَحمَنُ في وُحَيشِ

فَإِنَّهُ مُكَدِّرٌ لِلعَيشِ

The Most Merciful did not bless Wuhaysh

For he troubles the life

كَم قالَ لا قُلقِلَ غَيرُ نابِهِ

أَبياتَ شِعرٍ كَبُيوتِ الخَيشِ

How much he said but shook none besides himself
