سليمانُ ميمونُ النقيبة حازمٌ

ولكنَّه وقفٌ عليه الهزائمُ

Suleiman is fortunate, the leader is resolute

Yet he is plagued by defeats

ألا عوَذوه من توالي فتوحه

عساه ترد العينَ عنه التمائمُ

If only he were protected from the succession of his conquests

May the evil eye be averted from him by the talismans
